Dani & Fabio's wedding was fun from beginning to end, and I knew it would be this way because our engagement session was a breeze, and their personalities were so fun and laid-back. Dani is sweet, beautiful, and has such a great taste for details! I mean, look at their invitation suite—it’s a passport to a fun wedding weekend in Cape Charles, where the venue was by the beach with the sunset by the ocean (yes, on the East Coast, thanks to Cape Charles being on the bay). Dani’s dress, shoes, bouquet, and even the tennis shoes she wore during the reception were all thoughtfully chosen to tell a cohesive story of their day. The ceremony was unforgettable, surrounded by family and friends (Fabio said he wasn’t going to cry, but he broke his promise! lol). Portraits by the glowy golden hour were stunning, and the bridal party was the most fun and exciting, starting to party as soon as they stepped onto the bay!

The reception was unique! The bar set the tone for the whole night, and every detail in the decor and design of the wedding was perfect. Andre and I are still thinking about the dinner and desserts! Not to mention how fun and alive the dance floor was from the beginning of the night. I’ve heard the party went on until 5 am!

As a Virginia wedding photographer, I can’t express how grateful I am to photograph these weddings in Virginia and all across the U.S. Witnessing Dani & Fabio tying the knot was a privilege that I’ll carry in my heart. We left Cape Charles and drove all the way back to Richmond with hearts full of good memories and memory cards filled with beautiful images (we were supposed to stay in Virginia Beach for the night, but I booked the hotel for December by mistake—that’s so me! haha).
